Sanjana Srivastav is an Energy Economist for the State Fragility initiative based at the IGC London Hub. Her work primarily focuses on scaling up distributed renewable energy (DRE) access and investments in fragile and conflict-affected settings while also working closely with IGC’s broader work on energy and sustainability. Prior to joining the IGC, Sanjana was a researcher at the Smith School of Enterprise and the Environment at the University of Oxford. She has also interned at the United Nations (UNDP and UN OCHA) based in Iran and conducted research at the Centre for Economic and Social Development (CESD) in Myanmar.

Sanjana holds an MSc in Economics for Development from the University of Oxford and a BSc (Hons) in Economics from the University of Nottingham.
