Selena Cai is a Publications Assistant at the International Growth Centre (IGC). Her work experience spans international development, UK & Canadian politics, climate policy, academic research, and education advocacy. Prior to joining the IGC, she worked in international development consulting at The Advocacy Team and led a research project at the Cambridge Centre of Governance and Human Rights. Selena holds a BA with Joint Honours in History and Political Science and minor in Classics at McGill University and an MPhil in Politics and International Studies at the University of Cambridge. In October 2026, she will be starting a DPhil in International Relations at the University of Oxford as a Pilkington Scholarship and Canadian SSHRC Doctoral Scholarship recipient.
