Sultan Hafeez Rahman is former Senior Advisor for IGC Bangladesh. He previously served as IGC Bangladesh Country Director from 2013-2018. He was also formerly Director General of the South Asia Department at the Asian Development Bank. Previous to this, he served as Director General of ADB’s Pacific Department, as Deputy Director General of SARD, and as Director of operations coordination for South Asia. He also worked in the Bangladesh Institute of Development Studies (BIDS). He was an adviser to the Ministry of Finance and Planning. He holds a Master’s degree and a Ph.D. from Stanford University and a Master’s degree from Vanderbilt University.
