Andrea F. Presbitero is an Associate Professor of Economics at the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS), a CEPR Research Fellow in the International Macroeconomics and Finance programme, and member of the Money & Finance Research (MoFiR). He's currently on leave from the International Monetary Fund, where he works as a Senior Economist in the Research Department’s Macro-Financial Division. His research focuses on financial intermediation, banking, development finance, and sovereign debt.
