Joanne holds an MPA in Public and Economic Policy from the London School of Economics and Political Science as well as a BSc in Economics from the University College of London. Before joining the IGC, Joanne consulted on interest rate re-setting processes for the loans restructuring division of the European Investment Bank. She also has experience in governmental agencies under the helm of the Ministry of Trade and Industry in Singapore, promoting bilateral trade between Singapore and Europe, as well strengthening enterprise productivity in Southeast Asia.
Joanne’s research interests are in education policy, macroeconomic stability, microfinance applications in Southeast Asia, environmental policy as well as broader political economy.
