Kareen El Beyrouty
Kareen El Beyrouty is Principal Consultant at Ricardo Energy and Environment. She was formerly an Economist at Oxford Economics and was previously an IGC Fellow at the International Growth Centre. Prior to joining the IGC, she completed her Master’s in Public Administration in International Development (MPA/ID) at the Harvard Kennedy School. Her Second-Year Policy Analysis paper at Harvard focused on growth and civil conflict. In the summer of 2008, she worked at the Economic Policy Research Foundation of Turkey in Ankara, Turkey, focusing on clusters and competition. From 2005 to 2007, Kareen was an Analyst at NERA Economic Consulting in their Antitrust Practice in New York. She holds a BA from New York University in Economic Theory.
