Krista Tuomi is an Assistant Professor in the International Economic Relations programme at the American University in Washington D.C. Prior to this post, she lectured at the University of Cape Town, South Africa, where she focused on growth theory, game theory and macroeconomic policy. She also worked as an independent policy analyst in Southern Africa, advising on issues ranging from environmental cost-benefit analysis and governance capacity to growth constraints.
