Mari Oye

Mari supports the research of Lant Pritchett, Justin Sandefur, and Amanda Beatty on effective education systems. Before joining CGD, Mari worked in Myanmar and Tajikistan on research and economic policy reforms. A Marshall Scholar, Mari holds an MPhil in South Asian studies from Cambridge University, an MSc in violence, conflict, and development from the School of Oriental and African Studies, and a BA in political science from Yale University.
