Nick Charalambides is a Director of Imani Development, an economic consultancy, based in Cape Town. He has a doctorate in economics from the Centre for the Study of African Economies, Oxford and an LLM in international trade law. Specialising in trade and regional integration, he has worked extensively in southern and Eastern Africa, as well as the Caribbean and Pacific and Eastern Europe. Before becoming a consultant he worked for SADC, the European Commission and the Department for International Development. He started his career with Price Warerhouse in Kenya.
