Nick joined the IGC in 2020 as the Chief Finance and Administrative Officer (CFAO), and is now the IGC's Operations Director. Prior to the IGC, Nick had a career in banking.  At RBS, he headed the Board’s crisis management framework to respond to severe financial stress and before that Nick was the managing director for corporate strategy in a number of businesses including the Non-Core Division restructuring unit and Williams & Glyn, the proposed carve-out challenger bank.  He also ran corporate governance in the Asset Protection Scheme set up by the UK Government to support RBS after the financial crisis.  Previously, he headed corporate strategy for Europe at ABN AMRO.  Nick was initially in investment banking, leading M&A and equity capital markets origination and execution in European emerging markets at Citi and Schroders.

Nick has a Ph.D. and M.Phil. from the University of Cambridge and a B.A. from the University of Durham.
