Peter Carroll is a Ph.D. candidate in Political Science at the University of Michigan. He studies the political economy of development and political behavior. His work focuses on the transformative role of mobile technology on the economic and political lives of low-income households in East Africa and on the impact of distributive politics on infrastructure development in Africa.
