Rahul Shukla is the Research Coordinator at the Firms Initiative at the IGC London Hub. He holds an MSc in Public Policy from University College London. Before joining the IGC, Rahul has been involved in policy research and economic analyses using quantitative and qualitative research methodologies at organisations like Institute for Employment Studies, London, J-Pal South Asia, Delhi, and Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Centre, New Delhi. Rahul was a Gandhi Fellow in India where he designed and implemented evidence-based interventions for improving the student learning outcomes within state funded schools of remote villages in Haryana. Rahul's experience within varied work settings including think tanks, research centres, and grassroots-level initiatives has provided him a holistic understanding of solution delivery.
Rahul's research interests include development economics, political economy, and social policy of developing countries.
