Thomas Hubbard has been a professor at Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management since 2005. Previously he was a professor at the University of Chicago GSB and the University of California, Los Angeles. During 2004-5, he was a visiting professor at Columbia GSB. Professor Hubbard’s research interests mainly concern how information problems affect the organization of firms and markets, and therefore the structure of industries. His work has appeared in top-ranked journals such as the American Economic Review, the Quarterly Journal of Economics, and the Rand Journal of Economics. He is a co-editor of the Journal of Industrial Economics and a faculty research fellow at the National Bureau of Economic Research.
