Utteeyo Dasgupta is faculty at Wagner College and a Senior Research Associate at the Center for International Studies and Policy, Fordham University. He did his PhD in economics from University of Arizona. His research interests are in the positive, normative and strategic aspects of decision-making. He primarily uses economics experiments and game theory for his research.
He has published in the Journal of Public Economics, Economic Theory, Journal of Economic Behavior and Organization and other peer reviewed outlets. He has refereed for NSF (ad hoc), Journal of Public Economics, Journal of Economic Behavior and Organization, Economic Inquiry, Southern Economic Journal and other academic journals. He serves as an Associate Editor, for the British Journal of Management and Economics and is a member of the editorial board of the Journal of Community Development & Research.
HIs teaching interests are in Microeconomic Theory, and in particular Game Theory, Industrial Organization and Experimental/Behavioral Economics. Previously, he has taught at the University of Arizona and at Franklin and Marshall College.
