Wassim Maktabi

Wassim Maktabi is a researcher at the Lebanese Center for Policy Studies. He has experience in data collection and analysis, and an interest in Lebanon’s political economy. His work at LCPS mainly focuses on monitoring the legislative production of the Lebanese government, studying public resource allocation and its use as patronage, and tracking the state’s response to the pandemic. Wassim holds a BA in Economics from the American University of Beirut, and serves as a remote volunteer at Ketfe Bi Ketfak and a data officer at Open Map Lebanon.
