Increasing export ranks among the highest priorities of any government in both developed and developing countries. The underling idea is that favoring domestic export is conducive to economic growth. Export promotion policies (EPPs) are the sets of policies and practices aimed at affecting directly or indirectly export in a given country. This paper explores a number of strategies with a view to informing policy choices in Sierra Leone.
