Adaptation to climate risk: Evidence from cyclones and flooding in Bangladesh
This study evaluates how adaptation reduces the economic impacts of climate risk in Bangladesh by examining changes in crop choice and employment in response to floods and cyclones. Using a structural model, it finds that adaptation significantly mitigates welfare losses, which would otherwise be substantially higher under increased climate risk.
