Building resilience through state-led asset transfers: Medium-term impacts of the national poverty graduation programme in flood-prone Pakistan

This study assesses the medium-term impacts of Pakistan’s National Poverty Graduation Programme, an asset transfer scheme designed to reduce poverty and build resilience in flood-prone areas. Using household data and a Regression Discontinuity Design, it finds strong income and adaptation gains but highlights the need for climate-responsive and sustained post-graduation support.
