Garments as a driver of economic growth: Insights from Pakistan case studies
Project report Sustainable Growth, Firms, Trade and Large firms
This project examines the prospects of Pakistan's garment industry, based on interviews with 33 manufacturers from key production centres. It focuses on their views on competition, risks, and strategies to manage challenges. The report concludes that garment manufacturing is a modernising economic activity, highlighting opportunities for expansion, competition in global markets, and strategies for government support.
