Improving state effectiveness in environmental risk mitigation: Experimental evidence from Bangladesh
Bangladesh faces a severe arsenic contamination crisis, and this project piloted a web-based dashboard to improve how deep tube wells are allocated using granular data and machine learning. The pilot showed the tool fills critical village-level information gaps for officials and has laid the groundwork for a nationwide scale-up to better protect rural communities.
