Rwanda's Export Growth Fund: Evaluation and the way forward
This working paper assesses the impacts of Rwanda's Export Growth Fund (EGF). The EGF provides subsidies to boost export performance, particularly among agriculture and manufacturing firms. Preliminary evidence shows significant gains in business revenues, employment, and tax contributions, suggesting the programme pays for itself within five years and holds promise for broader, more inclusive expansion.
