Striving for quality: Initial progress on a randomised evaluation of certification support in Rwanda

Project report Firms, Trade and Sustainable Growth

Quality certification in Rwanda is associated with higher firm revenue, employment, profits, and export performance, though evidence remains preliminary due to pre-existing differences. A forthcoming RCT will provide clearer causal insights into how certification shapes firm outcomes.
