Strengthening Zambia’s governance institutions for effective management of commodity (copper) cycles.

Mobile service provision has grown rapidly in Zambia, with an estimated 76% of the Zambian population having access to a mobile phone. This rapid growth has led to the introduction of numerous mobile-based services, including mobile money. In this context, the Zambia Revenue Authority (ZRA) is interested in assessing the extent to which these changes, particularly with respect to mobile money, can be leveraged to enhance tax payer compliance and enhance tax revenue.
