The FCDO COVID-19 Economic Advisory Group

Role

The Advisory Group supports FCDO’s response to the COVID-19 crisis across developing countries with evidence-based discussions around key policy response areas. It will provide a responsive forum for key emerging policy issues, with a focus on the economic implications.

Membership

The Advisory Group is co-chaired by Rachel Glennerster, FCDO Chief Economist, and Jonathan Leape, IGC Executive Director. The group of leading experts is convened by IGC and consists of international experts engaged in COVID-19 crisis.

Meetings

The Advisory Panel held its first meeting in April 2020 and will meet approximately every two weeks. Meetings agendas will respond to issues that have been raised by FCDO where the group can offer advice.
