Philip English is a former, and now retired, Lead Economist in the Africa Region, Poverty Reduction and Economic Management Department of the World Bank. He has worked extensively on trade policy issues in Africa, first with WBI and then as trade coordinator for West Africa. He has been responsible for the preparation of seven Diagnostic Trade Integration Studies in West Africa, and is very familiar with the Enhanced Integrated Framework
