Siddarth Sriram is the Senior Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Officer at the International Growth Centre (IGC).
Prior to joining the IGC, he was working at a public policy think-tank, the Centre for Budget and Policy Studies in Bengaluru, India. Later, as part of a UNICEF project, he worked as a consultant with the state government of Tamil Nadu, lending technical assistance to the Department of Social Welfare and Women Empowerment. His work focused on designing and conducting evaluation studies and monitoring and reporting of UNICEF's projects under the child protection vertical.
He holds an MSc in Economics from the University of Warwick and a BA in Economics from Loyola College, University of Madras, India. His major areas of work and interests are on education, inequality, social sector policy in developing countries and state capacity.
