Chris Blattman is the Ramalee E. Pearson Professor of Global Conflict Studies at The University of Chicago, in the Harris School of Public Policy, where he teaches on the political economy of development, African politics, applied statistics, and the causes of war and violence. He has also been faculty at Columbia University and Yale University, and holds a PhD in Economics from the University of California at Berkeley, and a Masters in Public Administration and International Development (MPA/ID) from the Harvard Kennedy School.
