Samuel Dusengiyumva

Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Local Government,Rwanda

Mr. Samuel Dusengiyumva is the Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Local Government in Rwanda since November 2019. In this capacity he coordinates the technical, administrative and operational aspects of local government institutions including social protection interventions. Before joining Local Government, he served as the Coordinator of Projects in the Ministry of Public Service and Labour. Mr Samuel has worked for various organizations both public, intergovernmental and private in different capacities. These include the Ministry of Education, Regional Centre for Laptops and Learning, Regional Centre on Small Arms and Rwanda Bar Association.
