N.K. Singh’s book ‘Portraits of Power: Half a Century of Being at Ringside’ is a personal narrative which highlights India’s changing role at the global and national economic landscape over the years. It also reflects the multitude of institutions that work in tandem to create the economic and policy environment in the country.
N.K. Singh’s book gives us an opportunity to discuss and share this enriching personal journey and look into the lessons of the past, present and future of the economic and policy landscape in India. This autobiography is an account of the five decades of work he has spent in public policy.
To stimulate the discussion on this wonderful journey which is interwoven across decades of India’s economic and policy history, the IGC and Asian Development Research Institute (ADRI) are organising an online conversation with N K Singh on the 15th January 2021 at 4:00 PM IST.
