Anne Karing is a Lead Academic for IGC Sierra Leone

Anne is the Neubauer Family Assistant Professor in Economics at the University of Chicago. Her research is in development and behavioural economics, with a focus on social influence. Anne holds a BA and MPhil in Economics from the University of Oxford, and a PhD in Economics from the University of California, Berkeley. Prior to Berkeley, she worked with Innovations for Poverty Action and the Centre for the Study of African Economies in Kenya, Sierra Leone, and Uganda.
