Fabrizio is a Research Fellow at the Institute of Development Studies, and the Research Lead for the second component of the International Centre for Tax and Development (ICTD)'s DIGITAX Research Programme. His main research interests relate to governance, public finance, and taxation, with a strong focus on impact evaluation methodologies and statistical analysis.
Prior to joining the Institute of Development Studies, Fabrizio worked as a Research Associate at Innovations for Poverty Action in Myanmar, as a Trainee at the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific in Bangkok, and with BRAC in Uganda. He has field experience in Rwanda, Uganda, Ghana, Eswatini, Somalia. He holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Sussex.
