Inigo is a Project Manager at Laterite and specialises in program evaluation, econometrics and policy analysis. Before joining Laterite, he worked as a Senior Research Analyst at the International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI) where he researched structural transformation, trade, labour productivity, and employment, as well as links between agriculture, food security and nutrition in Africa. He has also managed several data collection and survey efforts ranging from agricultural production to financial derivatives. In addition, Inigo has worked previously as a consultant for the World Bank and as a trader/analyst for the Central Bank of Mexico.
He holds a Master in Public Administration in International Development from Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government and a B.A. in Economics from the Instituto Tecnologico Autonomo de Mexico (ITAM)
