Munseob Lee is an Assistant Professor at University of California San Diego's School of Global Policy and Strategy (GPS). He is also a director of the GPS's Korea-Pacific Program. His research areas are macroeconomics, economic growth, and development economics. Lee has been a short-term consultant at the World Bank, a visiting fellow at the Asian Development Bank, and a visiting scholar at the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis as well as the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis. He received the 2023 Sherman Family Korea Emerging Scholar Award from the Korea Society and the 2024 Young Scholar Award from the Korea-America Economic Association.
