Rahma Ahmed is a PhD student at the International Development Department at LSE, where she is studying the impacts of economic reforms on inequality in developing countries. She is also a doctoral participant at the International Inequalities Institute. Rahma holds a double Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Political Science from Yale University and an MPA from Columbia University. She previously worked for the World Bank’s Africa Research Group as well as the International Finance Corporation’s Thought Leadership Unit. Rahma began her career in the private sector as a Complex Securities Analyst at Ernst & Young.
