Saugata Mittra is a Policy Economist in the Tax for Growth Initiative (T4G) at IGC. T4G co-generates tax projects with policymakers and builds on the lessons from the economics literature to provide policymakers with recommendations that are actionable, accessible, and tailored to their contexts.
Saugata holds an MSc in Economics from the Barcelona School of Economics, and a BSc in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics from the University of Warwick. Prior to his role at the IGC, he was a manager in the tax practice of Deloitte UK, and Deloitte Middle East, based in both London and Dubai. His work focused on personal income tax, cross-border tax, and financial services.
