Bernard Tembo is an Engineer and Energy Economist, and a PhD Researcher at University College London (UCL). His research interests include energy, engineering, leadership, strategy and philosophy. He has in the past volunteered and held leadership positions in various civil and community based associations.

He holds a masters’ and bachelor’s degrees from University of Cape Town and University of Zambia respectively. His PhD research focuses on long-term capital investment decisions in Africa’s copper industry, and the impacts they have on energy efficiency and profitability.
