Willa Friedman

Willa Friedman is an Assistant Professor of Economics at the University of Houston, studying issues in development economics and political economy. She was previously a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Centre for Global Development. Her research deals with individual responses to institutions and policies and the impacts of these decisions. She is particularly interested in health, education and participation in violence, with a regional focus on Sub-Saharan Africa.
