Transition to green growth: Laying the foundations for a transition to green growth strategy
The use of firewood and charcoal is putting enormous pressure on forest areas, reducing both biodiversity and Sierra Leone's ability to mitigate climate change through forest carbon sequestration. This project informs policy on how to best implement a timely green growth transition to meet Sierra Leone's nationally determined contributions (NDCs) as part of the Paris Agreement.
