The 2016 Ethiopia Growth Forum (EGF) took place at the Sheraton Hotel in Addis Ababa on 7 March 2016.

The Forum consisted of thematic sessions featuring presentations and discussions by researchers, policymakers, and representatives from international development institutions. It aimed to bring together policy stakeholders and researchers from across Ethiopia, share ideas, experiences and best practices for achieving sustainable growth in the country.

Key findings from Ethiopia-centred research supported by IGC were also disseminated at EGF. The emphasis was on presenting these research results to policymakers to contribute toward improved policy planning and implementation in the specific areas of focus.
