The International Growth Centre (IGC) and the Yale Economic Growth Center (EGC) are hosting a two-day conference on October 19-20, 2023 on the theme of “Firms, Trade and Development.”
This event takes place in-person, simultaneously at LSE and Yale University.
The academic committee for the event is: David Atkin (MIT), Lauren Falcao Bergquist (Yale), Mayara Felix (Yale), Namrata Kala (MIT), Isabela Manelici (LSE), Meredith Startz (Dartmouth), Eric Verhoogen (Columbia), and Chris Woodruff (Oxford).
The conference will feature a keynote presentation by Robin Burgess (LSE), and a Policymaker Panel Session on "Fostering Growth in Developing Countries" with Dean Karlan (Northwestern University and USAID), Adnan Khan (FCDO), and Liz Lloyd (BII), moderated by Chris Woodruff (Oxford).
