Ashmita Gupta

Ashmita Gupta is an economist and visiting faculty at ADRI. Her primary areas of interest are empirical microeconomics, labour, development, gender, public finance and international trade. She has been part of the editorial board of Economic and Political Weekly. She has been a postdoctoral researcher at Wageningen University, Netherlands and Indian Statistical Institute, Chennai. Before that, she completed her PhD from the University of Houston. She has done Master’s from Jawaharlal Nehru University and Bachelor’s from Delhi University
