The plenary session launches the IGC’s White Paper on innovation, growth and the environment, which explores a path for growth in developing countries that protects the health of the planet and its citizens. The presentation is tailored to the Ethiopia context and helps set the research agenda surrounding inclusive growth, notably in areas extending beyond more traditional environment and climate change mitigation focus. The plenary is complemented by three technical sessions on adaptive farmers, resilient cities, and sustainable jobs allowing us to explore in more depth opportunities and challenges around sustainable economic development.
